Self portraits

These pictures say a lot about who I am. The first photo shows how I like to drum but also like to go outside. The second shows how much I like electronics, it shows I game wether its pc or console. The 3rd through 5th shows my love for flying, I love to fly but unfortunately it was to rainy to fly that day. The last couple pictures again who my love for electronics and being outside.

Portraits

This is my dad at my house in the afternoon. I took this photo because I really liked the bright colors behind the black clothes.

I also liked the image of my dad in cyan. Again I like the darks with the lights

This is my older sister at out house in the afternoon. She had just gotten home and wasn't expecting a photo to be taken. I liked the amount of light in this photo.

I also like this photo because her eyes are trying to ignore the camera.

I like the expression in this photo and the big eyes.

This is my little sister in our house in the afternoon. The picture looks blurred because she was angry that I was taking a picture of her.

 This is my best friend Garett. He was in deep thought as I took this picture.

He then decided to be weird and I was able to get this picture. I like the shadow in the picture.

 I like this picture because of my little sister in the background.

I like the expression on this picture.

Beauty

1. How would you define beauty in photography? To me, beauty in a photo is something easy to look. The photos I enjoy the most are spacious landscapes shots with lots of sky in the picture and many different colors. It looks good and is easy to look at.
2. What are the characteristics of photographic beauty? The characteristics would be something easy to look at, lots of space in the picture, sky, not over or under exposed, and many different colors.
3. Can something "ugly" be photographed and be considered beautiful. Yes it could. Everyone thinks differently so, its possible that someone would like a "ugly" picture. For example, I might take a picture and I don't like it but my dad might.
